(E-RYT 500, YACEP, Yoga Therapist, Ayurveda Consultant)
Madhura has been on her yogic path for a little over 14yrs and primarily involved with teaching in yoga teacher training. Being born and raised in an Indian family exposed her to yoga philosophy, eastern psychology, ayurveda and mantra chanting at a very young age. Her primary focus has been to offer authentic Yoga and Ayurveda education in the most accessible way to suit a modern lifestyle while passing on the Yoga traditions in the purest form.
She holds experience as the director, course curator and educator of 200 and 300Hr YTTCs. Madhura is a highly respected yoga teacher trainer. Her classes balance contemplation with sweat, long – held asanas & a healthy dose of alignments. They are insightful, inspiring, challenging, energetic, functional and progressive as she weaves in movement, breathwork, chanting and primordial philosophical talks. Her passion for yoga traditions, profound knowledge, curiosity, humbleness, humour and deep connection with her students give her the ability to transmit the deepest scriptural teachings in a way that is clear, meaningful and applicable.
Her work is based on her inquiry into intuitive wisdom arts and focused at empowering her students with tools to develop embodied awareness to tap into all the felt sensations, untie and melt what is stuck within, allow discomforts to resurface and cultivate the art of embracing all that arises with compassion and courage. Madhura is also a yoga therapist, ayurveda consultant and educator and works mainly with women’s health and well-being. She practices what she preaches and emphasises on the importance of living yoga instead of practicing yoga. Studying with Madhura is an enjoyable and transformative experience.
